Hello there.
On your site biblebelivers.org.au there is a material named "Revelation 17:12-13 - Part I
Reconstructing the Tower of Babel"
Altough the text is good there are some factological mistakes in it.
For example there is this map showong the Khazarian kingdom of the 10th century.I regret to inform you that there are some grave mistakes on it.That wich bothers me is that you have missed to point where Bulgaria is.And in the 10th century Bulgaria was the second greatest center of christianity beating even Constantinopole(the first in that time was Rome). Also i deeply disagree with the following:
"but Khazars, a people of Turkish stock, who occupied a strategic position between the Black and the Caspian Seas. Their ancient kingdom acted as a buffer, protecting Byzantium against barbarians from the northern steppes, and importantly blocking the Arab advance from the south, thus preventing the Muslim conquest of Eastern Europe."
First of all the khazarian kingdom may be ancient, but it's not khazarian. These people now known as khazarians where part of VOlga-Bulgaria
and the bulgarian tribes. They adopted the hebrew believes to protect them from the muslims, that were advacing not only physically but also spiritually.
Second:The northwern strepes were lands of the forementioned bulgarian tribes(to wich,as i said the khazarians belonged) up to the 12th century when the Golde horde of the mongols conquered them.
Third:The Geocrafical position of this hebrew state prevented them form protecting eastern Europe, and the Bizantium empire. It is much easier to advance trough Constantinopole and Nicea, than to take the long way around the Black Sea.Looking into the history we will see an evidence of this in the siege that the arabs laid on COnstantinopole in 718 Ad.
And even later(forgive me for i cannot remmember the exact year) the khazarian Khaganate launched an invasion in eastern europe, and if it wasn't for the Bulgarian kingdom to push them back who knows how far would have they gotten.
On the other end of the khaganate, contrary to your text, was not the Roman empire but the Bulgarian Kingdom and the Pechengs tribes
I hope you will find this information useful, and will correct the mistakes in your site. I'm also posting links to some maps of the period:
